Third suspect caught in Circle K beer theft

The third suspect wanted for stealing beer from a Haughton, Louisiana convenience store nearly three weeks ago was brought into custody Tuesday afternoon.

Jason L. Cleveland, 25, turned himself in to Bossier detectives and admitted to the theft of four cases of beer with two others from the Circle K on Highway 80 and Chandler in Haughton on March 24.

Logan S. Luginbill, 19,  and Antwyone D. Woodfork, 17, were arrested the night of the shoplifting scheme, but Cleveland eluded law enforcement by jumping from the vehicle driven by Luginbill while a deputy approached later that evening.

Detectives soon obtained store surveillance video of the heist showing a black male entering the Circle K around 11:20 p.m. on March 24.  The video showed him grabbing four cases of beer and walking out without paying and entering a vehicle with two other men.

Cleveland's charged with theft of goods and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond of $400.
