Bossier deputies arrest man for violently assaulting ex | Crime
BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Haughton, Louisiana man was arrested late last week for punching his former girlfriend in the face and other areas several times.
Jonathon R. Frye, 26, according to deputies, got into an argument with his former live-in girlfriend before it quickly turned into a physical altercation.
Deputies say, his girlfriend had pulled into the parking lot in front of Stocky’s Pizza on Highway 80 in Haughton, and Frye, a passenger, soon began arguing with her. He had been drinking, and she told him she didn’t want to argue and to get out of her car. Employees of the pizza place heard the ruckus outside and witnessed Frye using profanity in the parking lot. Authorities say Frye then punched the victim in the face, arms and leg at least four or five times.
The victim had to be taken to the hospital to seek medical attention.
Frye was charged with domestic abuse battery, disturbing the peace (language), disturbing the peace (drunk) and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.
