Church hosting Sporting Clay Tournament fundraiser | Community Spirit
First Baptist Bossier is hosting a Missions Sporting Clay Tournament which begins at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 24 at the Los Paloma Event Center, 900 Seven Pines Road in Benton. Money raised will help the church fund its mission trips.
Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. The tournament will start at 1:30 p.m. with prizes being awarded during the evening meal at 5:30 p.m.
Teams of five will compete as a team. The team that hits the most targets will be the winner. The entry fee for a five-person team is $600. For individuals, the cost is $125. Single shooters will be placed on a team. The entry fee included the meal and a t-shirt and minors must have an adult present.
Our goal is to be a faith family of world-impacting disciples who are partnering around the world to produce ever-multiplying churches all around our city, this country, and to the ends of the earth.
Part of how we accomplish this is through short-term mission trips. Although these trips are short in length, they are not short on expense. They can be costly for our team members to go. So, we want to host an event to not only share about what we are doing at First Bossier, but give a helping hand to the financial arm of each team member as they Get Up & Geaux with us to places like Peru, El Salvador, Uganda and more this next year.
Your participation in this event is priceless to us and we hope it will inspire you to know that you are helping spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth by playing a part. Thank you!!
