Bossier Parish Community College will hold two informational meetings for anyone interested in learning more about nursing. The meetings will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday and at 2 p.m. on Thursday on the BPCC campus in Building B, Room 216, 6220 E. Texas Street in Bossier City.

BPCC nurses group donates stuffed animals to police/fire depts.

BPCC Student Nurses Association today presented stuffed animals collected during the organization’s “Tuff Stuff” Toy Drive. The stuffed animals will be given by police and fire departments to children in times of crisis (domestic violence calls, house fires, etc.).

Volunteers needed for Walk MS: shreveport-Bossier City

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Louisiana is looking for volunteers to help with Walk MS: Shreveport-Bossier City with presenting sponsor Pfizer.

On Saturday, April 6, more than 400 walkers are expected to walk and help raise the goal of $40,000. Funds raised will support programs and direct services for people with MS and their families in Louisiana and MS research to find a cure for this chronic disease of the central nervous system.
